About Wienerfolk

Wienerfolk started with two cats and a long-haired dachshund named Luna. Three years in, our home was full of mugs (the dad ones, the mom ones, the "fueled by coffee and dachshunds" ones) and an embarrassing number of water bowls our cats refused to drink from.

Then Luna ended up at the vet with urinary crystals. The vet's first question was about water. Was she drinking? Cats are wired to seek out moving water, the vet explained. A static bowl in the kitchen is not enough. We bought four fountains before we found one that actually worked, and started thinking about all the dachshund parents and cat parents who had been through the same thing.

So Wienerfolk became home to two product families.
